The BAV21 is a superfast recovery rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for high-speed switching applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average forward rectified current of 250mA. The diode offers a fast reverse recovery time of 50ns, making it suitable for signal processing and high-speed switching circuits.
Electrical characteristics include a forward voltage of 1.0V at 100mA and 1.25V at 200mA, with low leakage current of 100nA at 25°C and 15µA at 100°C. Junction capacitance is typically 5pF, contributing to its high-speed performance. The device can handle peak forward surge currents up to 5A.
