The BAV199 is a dual surface mount switching diode designed for applications requiring low leakage current. It offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 85V and an RMS reverse voltage of 60V. The diode can handle a forward continuous current of up to 160mA for a single diode or 140mA for a double diode configuration, with a repetitive peak forward current of 500mA.
Packaged in a compact SOT23 surface mount package, the BAV199 is well-suited for automated insertion. The package material is molded plastic with a UL Flammability Classification Rating of 94V-0. Terminals are finished with matte tin over an Alloy 42 leadframe, making them solderable per MIL-STD-202, Method 208.
