The BAV16W-7 is a surface-mount fast switching diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for general purpose switching applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage (DC blocking) of 100V and a forward continuous current rating of 300mA. The diode offers a low forward voltage of 0.715V at 1mA and a fast reverse recovery time of 4ns, making it suitable for high-speed switching circuits.
With a low junction capacitance of 2pF at 0V and 1MHz, this diode minimizes signal distortion in high-frequency applications. The device is housed in a compact SOD-123 surface-mount package, ideal for automated insertion and space-constrained designs. It is fully RoHS compliant, halogen and antimony free, and rated UL 94V-0 for flammability.
The BAV16W-7 operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces. It is marked with code T4 for easy identification.
