BAV103-GS18 is a high-voltage small signal switching diode from Vishay Dale. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 250V and a reverse voltage of 200V, with a maximum forward continuous current of 250mA. The diode also supports a peak forward surge current of 1A (tp=1s) and a repetitive peak forward current of 625mA, making it suitable for demanding small-signal switching applications.
The device has a maximum forward voltage of 1V at 100mA forward current and a low reverse current of 100nA at 200V reverse voltage (Tamb=25°C). Reverse recovery time is 50ns, providing fast switching behavior. Maximum power dissipation is 500mW, with typical thermal resistance of 350K/W junction-to-lead and 500K/W junction-to-ambient on a standard PC board.
The BAV103-GS18 is supplied in a MiniMELF (SOD-80) surface-mount package, also referred to as DO-213AC. The package weighs approximately 31mg and features a black cathode band. This tape-and-reel variant uses the GS18 packaging code, with 10,000 units per 13-inch reel (8mm tape). The device is RoHS3 compliant and intended for general purpose high-voltage switching and rectification applications.
