The BAV102-TP is a silicon epitaxial planar diode designed for small signal switching applications. It is rated for a maximum continuous reverse voltage of 150V and a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V. The forward DC current rating is 200mA, with a repetitive peak forward current of 625mA and a surge forward current of 1A. Power dissipation is 400mW at 25°C ambient temperature. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum forward voltage of 1.25V at 200mA and 1.00V at 100mA. Reverse leakage current is 100nA maximum at 150V and 25°C, rising to 15µA at 100°C. The reverse recovery time is 50ns maximum (tested at IF=30mA, IR=30mA, Irr=3mA, RL=100Ω). Typical capacitance is 1.5pF at 0V and 1MHz, and typical dynamic forward resistance is 5.0Ω at 10mA.
The BAV102-TP is housed in a Mini MELF (DO-213AC/SOD-80) surface mount package, which is moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1) and features a lead-free finish. The package is compatible with standard reflow soldering processes. These diodes are also available in other case styles including DO-35 (BAV19-BAV21), SOD-123 (BAV19W-BAV21W), SOT-23 (BAS19-BAS21), and SOD-323 (BAV19WS-BAV21WS).
