The BAV102-GS18 is a small signal switching diode from Vishay Dale, designed for high-voltage applications. It offers a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and a DC reverse voltage of 150V. The diode can handle a forward continuous current of 250mA with a maximum forward voltage of 1V at 100mA. Its reverse recovery time is typically 50ns, making it suitable for fast switching circuits.
Electrical characteristics include a reverse current of 100nA at 150V, junction capacitance of 1.5pF at 0V and 1MHz, and a peak forward surge current of 1A for 1 second. Power dissipation is rated at 500mW. The device operates over a junction temperature range up to 175°C and can be stored from -65°C to +175°C.
The diode is housed in a surface mount SOD-80 MiniMELF package (also known as DO-213AC). It weighs approximately 31mg and features a black cathode band for polarity identification. The component is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 10,000 pieces per reel. It is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected.
