The Nexperia BAT54SW is a planar Schottky barrier diode designed for ultra high-speed switching, line termination, voltage clamping, and reverse polarity protection. Encapsulated in a very small SOT323 (SC-70) surface-mounted device (SMD) plastic package, this diode features low forward voltage and low capacitance.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum reverse voltage of 30V and a typical forward voltage of 800mV at 100mA. The diode also exhibits a low reverse current of 2µA at 25V. Its compact SC-70 package (2 mm x 1.25 mm x 0.95 mm) with a 1.3 mm pitch is suitable for surface mounting.
With a maximum continuous forward current of 200mA and a total power dissipation of 200mW (at 25°C on FR4 PCB), the BAT54SW is designed for efficient operation in demanding applications. The junction temperature is rated up to 150°C.
