The BAT54-7 is a surface-mount Schottky barrier diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for low turn-on voltage and fast switching applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 30V and an average rectified current of 200mA at +25°C. The forward voltage is typically 800mV at 100mA forward current, and reverse leakage current is limited to 2µA at 25V reverse bias.
This diode incorporates a PN junction guard ring for transient and ESD protection, making it suitable for high-reliability designs. It is packaged in a standard SOT-23-3 surface-mount package with matte tin annealed terminals over an Alloy 42 leadframe, and the molded plastic compound is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability.
The device is fully RoHS3 compliant, totally lead-free, and halogen- and antimony-free. It is qualified to JEDEC standards and is moisture sensitivity level 1 per J-STD-020. Typical applications include polarity protection, freewheeling diodes, and DC-DC converter circuits where low forward voltage drop and fast switching are required.
