BAT54-02V-V-G-08

The BAT54-02V-V-G-08 from Vishay is a small signal Schottky diode designed for low-power, high-speed switching applications. It is rated for a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30 V and a continuous forward current of 200 mA, with a repetitive peak forward current of 300 mA and surge forward current of 600 mA. The diode offers very low forward voltage: typically 240 mV at 0.1 mA, 320 mV at 1 mA, 400 mV at 10 mA, 500 mV at 30 mA, and 800 mV at 100 mA. Reverse recovery time is typically 5 ns, and diode capacitance is 10 pF at 1 V and 1 MHz.

The device exhibits a maximum power dissipation of 150 mW and a thermal resistance from junction to ambient of 680 K/W. The maximum junction temperature is 125 °C, and the storage temperature range is -65 °C to +150 °C. The diode is protected by a PN junction guard ring against excessive voltage, such as electrostatic discharges.

Packaged in a space-saving SOD-523 surface-mount case, the BAT54-02V-V-G-08 weighs approximately 1.4 mg and features UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Terminals are suitable for high-temperature soldering at 260 °C for 4 x 10 seconds. The device is RoHS compliant and available in tape and reel packaging with 3,000 units per reel.
