The BAT42-TR is a small signal Schottky diode from Vishay, designed for general purpose applications. It features a very low turn-on voltage and fast switching, with a guard ring for protection against excessive voltage such as electrostatic discharges.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30V, a maximum forward continuous current of 200mA, and a maximum forward voltage of 650mV at 50mA. The diode offers a typical reverse recovery time of 5ns and a typical capacitance of 7pF at 1V and 1MHz, making it suitable for high-frequency circuits.
