The BAS86-GS08 is a small signal Schottky diode manufactured by Vishay Semiconductors. It is designed for general purpose applications requiring low forward voltage and fast switching. The device features a metal-on-silicon Schottky barrier protected by a PN junction guard ring, providing robustness against electrostatic discharge.
Key specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 50V, a forward continuous current rating of 200mA, and a repetitive peak forward current of 500mA (tp < 1s, duty cycle ≤ 0.5).
