The BAS521 is a small-signal switching diode designed for high-speed switching applications. It offers a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 250V and an average forward current of 200mA. The diode has a maximum forward voltage of 1.1V at 100mA and a low reverse current of 150nA at 250V.
With a reverse recovery time of 50ns, the BAS521 is suitable for extreme fast switching circuits. It can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 2A (8.3ms half sine-wave) and has a maximum power dissipation of 150mW. The junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
The device is packaged in a SOD-523 surface-mount package with tin-plated leads, solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD22-B102. Polarity is indicated by a cathode line. The marking code is JS. Standard package quantity is 8000 pieces per reel.
