The BAS40Q-7-F is a surface-mount Schottky barrier diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for low voltage, high speed switching applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage (VRRM) of 40V and an average rectified current (IO) of 200mA. The forward voltage drop is a maximum of 1V at 40mA, ensuring efficient operation. Reverse current is limited to 0.2µA at rated voltage, and the device offers a fast reverse recovery time of 5ns. Junction capacitance is 5pF at 0V and 1MHz.
The diode is housed in a SOT23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59) and is surface-mountable. It is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications and is PPAP capable. The device is fully RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. Moisture sensitivity level is 1 per J-STD-020, and the package material has a UL flammability rating of 94V-0. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
