The BAS40LT1G is a Schottky barrier diode designed for high-speed switching, circuit protection, and voltage clamping. It features an extremely low forward voltage of 380 mV at 1 mA, reducing conduction loss. The diode is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 40 V and a continuous forward current of 120 mA. It can handle surge currents up to 600 mA for 10 ms and 200 mA for 1 s. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a maximum power dissipation of 225 mW at 25°C (derate 1.8 mW/°C above 25°C). The BAS40LT1G is housed in a surface mount SOT-23-3 (TO-236) package, making it suitable for compact designs. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel.
