The BAS40-06LT1 is a common anode Schottky barrier diode from On Semiconductor (onsemi). It is designed for high speed switching applications, circuit protection, and voltage clamping. The device offers an extremely low forward voltage of 380 mV maximum at 1 mA, reducing conduction loss in portable and handheld designs where space is limited.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum reverse voltage of 40 V, a forward continuous current of 120 mA, and a forward surge current capability of 200 mA for ≤1 s and 600 mA for ≤10 ms. Reverse leakage current is 1.0 µA maximum at 25 V. Total capacitance is 5.0 pF maximum at 1 V and 1 MHz. The device can dissipate up to 225 mW at 25°C ambient, with a derating factor of 1.8 mW/°C above 25°C. Operating junction temperature range is -55 to +150 °C.
