The BAS21XV2T5G is a high voltage switching diode designed for general purpose switching applications. It is a spin-off of the popular SOT-23 three-leaded device, repackaged in the extremely small SOD-523 surface mount package for low-power applications where board space is at a premium.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum continuous reverse voltage of 250V, a maximum continuous forward current of 200mA, and a maximum forward voltage of 1.25V at 200mA. The diode features a fast reverse recovery time of 50ns and a low junction capacitance of 5pF, making it suitable for high-speed switching circuits. Maximum power dissipation is 250mW when mounted on an FR-5 board at 25°C.
The device is housed in a SOD-523 package (supplier case 502) and is surface mount compatible. It is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliant. An automotive qualified version (NSVBAS21XV2T5G) is also available with AEC-Q101 certification.
