The BAS21LT1 is a high voltage switching diode manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is designed for general purpose switching applications requiring high voltage capability. The diode features a maximum continuous reverse voltage of 250V and a maximum continuous forward current of 200mA, with a peak forward surge current rating of 2A (1/2 cycle, 60 Hz). The forward voltage is a maximum of 1.25V at 200mA.
The diode offers fast switching with a maximum reverse recovery time of 50ns. Capacitance is typically 5pF at 0V, 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed circuits. Maximum reverse leakage current is 100nA at 200V. Power dissipation is 385mW when mounted on an FR-5 board, with an operating junction temperature range of -55 to 150°C and a storage temperature range of -55 to 150°C.
The BAS21LT1 is available in a surface mount SOT-23-3 package (also referred to as TO-236-3 or SC-59). It is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS Compliant as per the datasheet. The device is suitable for high voltage switching in a variety of applications such as power supplies, signal processing, and protection circuits.
