The BAS16LT3G is a high-speed switching diode designed for general-purpose and signal-level applications. It offers a maximum continuous reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward current of 200mA. Forward voltage ranges from 715mV at 1mA to 1.25V at 150mA. Reverse leakage current is limited to 1.0µA at 100V. The diode exhibits a fast reverse recovery time of 6ns and low diode capacitance of 2pF at 0V and 1MHz, making it suitable for high-frequency switching circuits.
Operating temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C. Power dissipation is rated at 225mW on FR-5 board and 300mW on alumina substrate, with corresponding junction-to-ambient thermal resistances of 556°C/W and 417°C/W. The device is housed in a compact SOT-23-3 surface-mount package, also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 10,000 pieces per reel.
The BAS16LT3G is part of the BAS16L family and is available in alternate reel quantities (BAS16LT1G) and automotive-qualified AEC-Q101 variants (SBAS16LT1G and SBAS16LT3G). The diode is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-free, and halogen-free. Designers can use this part in a wide range of applications including signal rectification, protection circuits, and low-power DC-DC converters.
