The BAS16 is a small signal switching diode manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is designed for general purpose applications including signal processing, rectification, and high-speed switching. The diode features a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 85V and a maximum average forward current of 215 mA when a single diode is loaded.
The device offers fast switching performance with a reverse recovery time of less than 4 ns. Forward voltage is typically low, with a maximum of 715 mV at 1 mA, 855 mV at 10 mA, 1.0 V at 50 mA, and 1.25 V at 150 mA. Junction capacitance is limited to 2 pF, making it suitable for high-frequency circuits.
The BAS16 is housed in a compact SOT-23-3 surface mount package (also available as TO-236-3 and SC-59). It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel. The device is RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals compliant, with an MSL rating of Level 1. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
