The BAS16-7 is a surface-mount switching diode manufactured by Diodes Incorporated. It is designed for general purpose switching applications and features a fast switching speed with a reverse recovery time of 4 ns.
The diode has a maximum reverse voltage of 75 V and can handle an average rectified current of 200 mA. The maximum forward voltage is 1.25 V at a forward current of 150 mA. The junction capacitance is 2 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz.
The device is housed in a SOT-23-3 surface-mount package (also available as TO-236-3, SC-59). It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel. The diode is fully RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen and antimony free. It meets UL 94V-0 flammability rating and has MSL Level 1 moisture sensitivity.
This diode is suitable for general purpose switching circuits, signal processing, and protection applications. Its small size and low capacitance make it ideal for high-speed switching in portable electronics.
