The BAS116T-7-F is a standard recovery diode designed for general purpose low leakage applications. It is rated for a maximum peak repetitive reverse voltage of 85 V and a DC blocking voltage of 85 V, with a maximum RMS reverse voltage of 60 V. The device can handle a forward continuous current of 215 mA (single diode operation) and a repetitive peak forward current of 500 mA. The forward voltage is typically 1.25 V at 150 mA, and the leakage current is extremely low at 5 nA at 75 V. The reverse recovery time is 3.0 μs, classifying it as a standard recovery diode (trr > 500 ns).
Packaged in the ultra-small SOT-523 surface mount package, the BAS116T-7-F is suitable for compact PCB layouts. The package is molded with green molding compound, is lead-free and RoHS3 compliant, and meets AEC-Q101 standards for automotive reliability. The device has a maximum power dissipation of 150 mW and a thermal resistance junction-to-ambient of 833 °C/W.
Typical applications include general purpose rectification, low leakage circuits, and use in battery-powered or automotive electronics where low power consumption and high reliability are required.
