The BAR43 is a Schottky rectifier diode manufactured by On Semiconductor (formerly Fairchild Semiconductor). It is designed for low power rectification and switching applications. The device has a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 30 V and an average rectified forward current of 200 mA. It offers a low forward voltage drop of 800 mV at 100 mA, which minimizes power loss. The reverse recovery time is only 5 ns, enabling high-speed switching.
The BAR43 is housed in a compact surface-mount SOT-23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59). It has a power dissipation of 290 mW and a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 430 °C/W.
