The JST B8B-PH-K-S is an 8-position, single-row, through-hole male pin header from the PH series.
It features a 2mm (0.079 inch) pitch, making it suitable for high-density internal wire-to-board connections. The fully shrouded header design prevents incorrect mating and protects against contaminants. The header includes a PCB retention mechanism that prevents floating during soldering, ensuring accurate placement.
Electrical ratings include 2A AC/DC current (AWG #24) and 100V AC/DC voltage. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. The insulation is natural polyamide (PA66/Nylon 6/6) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are brass with square male pins. The overall contact length is 8.45mm (0.333 inches).
This header is designed for vertical through-hole mounting to a PCB with thickness of 0.8 to 1.6mm. It accepts AWG #32 to #24 wire when used with corresponding crimp contacts.
