The JST B8B-EH-A is an 8-position single row shrouded header from the EH series, featuring a 2.50mm pitch. This wire-to-board connector is designed for through-hole mounting with both press-fit and solder termination options. The header accepts male pin contacts made of brass with a tin-lead finish.
The connector is rated for 3A (AWG #22) and 250V AC/DC, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C. It offers a low-profile, space-saving design ideal for high-density PCB layouts. The shrouded 3-wall design includes a friction lock for secure mating.
Insulation is made of PA66/Nylon 6/6 in natural color with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The contact resistance is 10 mΩ initial (20 mΩ after environmental tests), insulation resistance is 1,000 MΩ minimum, and the withstanding voltage is 800 VAC for one minute without breakdown.
