The TDK B88069X5010C102 is a 2-electrode gas discharge tube (GDT) from the M51-C90X series, designed for overvoltage protection in telecom and data line applications. It features a nominal DC spark-over voltage of 90V with ±20% tolerance, and a minimum of 72V and maximum of 108V. The impulse spark-over voltage is less than 400V at 100V/µs (99% of measured values) and less than 600V at 1kV/µs. The GDT can handle impulse discharge currents up to 10kA (8/20µs, 1 operation) and 5kA (8/20µs, 10 operations). It also withstands AC discharge currents of 5A for 1 second (10 operations) and 10A for 0.18 seconds (1 operation). The device offers high insulation resistance (>1 GΩ at 50VDC) and low capacitance (<1 pF at 1MHz). It is packaged in an axial cylinder through-hole form, weighing approximately 1 gram. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +90°C, with a climatic category of 40/090/21 per IEC 60068-1. The GDT is RoHS-compatible and UL 497B certified (E163070).
