This is a current-compensated ring core double choke from TDK's B82791H series, designed for power line common-mode interference suppression. It has a rated inductance of 10 mH at 10 kHz, a maximum current rating of 500 mA, and a voltage rating of 250 V AC.
The choke features a ferrite core with epoxy coating (UL 94 V-0) and a polycarbonate case (UL 94 V-0). It has a typical stray inductance of 1.5% for symmetrical interference suppression. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C, with a rated temperature of +40°C or +60°C.
The component is through hole mounted with a vertical, 4 PC pin configuration. Pin diameter is 0.6 mm. Dimensions are 15.30 mm length, 7.40 mm width, and 17.60 mm maximum height. It is suitable for wave soldering and comes in a cardboard box delivery mode.
Applications include suppression of common-mode interferences in electronic ballasts and switch-mode power supplies. The choke has approvals from ENEC, UR, and VDE, and is RoHS-compatible.
