The JST B7B-PH-SM3-TB is a 7 position, single row shrouded header from the PH series. It features a 2.00mm pitch and is designed for board-to-cable/wire connections. The connector is fully shrouded with four walls to prevent improper mating and protect against flux and contaminants.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 2A (AWG #24) and a voltage rating of 100V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 10 mΩ max initial and 20 mΩ max after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 1,000 MΩ min, and withstanding voltage is 800V AC/minute. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C.
The header uses a surface mount (SMT) configuration with solder termination and a solder retention feature to prevent floating during reflow. The housing is made of heat-resistant polyamide (PA46) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are copper alloy with tin-lead finish.
