The JST B6P-VH(LF)(SN) is a 6-position, single row, vertical through hole header from the VH series. It features a shrouded design with a locking ramp for secure mating with VH series crimp receptacles. The header has a 3.96mm pitch and accepts AWG #22 to #16 wire.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 10A (AWG #16), voltage rating of 250V AC/DC, and operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C. Contact resistance is 10 mΩ max initial and 20 mΩ max after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ min and withstanding voltage is 1500 VAC/minute.
The header uses brass contacts with tin plating and a polyamide (PA66/Nylon 6/6) insulator. The contact length is 7.70mm and overall contact length is 14.60mm. The insulation height is 9.40mm. It is designed for 1.6mm PC board thickness and has a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
