The B57235S0509M051 is a leaded NTC thermistor designed for inrush current limiting applications such as switch-mode power supplies and soft-start motors. It features a nominal resistance of 5 Ohms at 25°C with ±20% tolerance and a maximum current rating of 4.2A over 0 to 65°C. The component dissipates up to 1.8W at 25°C with a dissipation factor of 9 mW/K in air. Its operating temperature range spans -55°C to +170°C, meeting climatic category 55/170/21 per IEC 60068-1. The radial leaded disc package has a maximum diameter of 9.5mm, thickness of 6.0mm, and height of 14.0mm. Lead spacing is 5.0mm nominal, with lead diameter of 0.6mm and minimum lead length 25.0mm.
