The B4B-ZR-SM3-TF is a 4-position surface mount header manufactured by Jst Manufacturing, part of the ZR series. It features a male pin design with circular contacts made of brass and tin-lead plating (Tin-Lead finish). The header is fully shrouded (4 walls) providing protection against misalignment during mating.
It has a 1.5mm pitch and is rated for 1A current and 50V voltage. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C. Contact resistance is 20mΩ initial and 30mΩ after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 500MΩ min. Withstanding voltage is 500V AC/minute. Suitable for wire gauge AWG 32 to 26 and PC board thickness 0.6 to 1.2mm or 1.6mm.
The header uses a detent lock fastening type and features solder retention for reliable soldering. The insulation material is Polyamide (PA46) Nylon 4/6 with glass filling, rated UL94 V-0. It is designed for board-to-cable/wire applications and is compatible with ZH crimp style and ZR IDC connectors. The connector requires only 45% of the space compared to standard 2.0mm pitch connectors.
Available in Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) packaging options. This product is not RoHS compliant due to the tin-lead contact finish.
