The B3PS-VH(LF)(SN) is part of JST's VH series of disconnectable crimp-style connectors, designed for reliable board-to-cable connections. This 3-position, single-row header features a 3.96mm pitch and right-angle through-hole mounting with solder termination. The shrouded design provides one wall of protection, and the locking ramp ensures secure mating with compatible receptacle connectors.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 10A (AWG #16) and a voltage rating of 250V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 10 mΩ max initially and 20 mΩ max after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ min, with a withstanding voltage of 1500 VAC. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C.
Mechanically, the header has brass contacts with tin plating, a square contact shape, and an insulation body of polyamide PA66 with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. It accepts wire sizes AWG #22 to #16 and is intended for use on 1.6 mm thick PCBs. The standard packaging quantity is 1000 pieces per bag.
