The B340LA-13-F is a 3.0A low VF Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for high efficiency low voltage power conversion. With a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified output current of 3A, this device offers a maximum forward voltage drop of only 0.45V at 3A, significantly reducing conduction losses.
The guard ring die construction provides transient protection, and the non-repetitive peak forward surge current rating of 70A allows reliable startup and fault handling. Typical total capacitance is 180 pF at 4V and 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-frequency switching applications.
The device is housed in a molded plastic SMA (DO-214AC) package with matte tin terminals and cathode band polarity marking. It is rated for an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and a storage temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. Moisture sensitivity is Level 1 per J-STD-020, and the part is RoHS compliant with a lead-free, halogen-free green finish.
