The B340A-13-F is a 3.0A surface-mount Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for low-voltage, high-frequency applications. It features a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 40V and a low forward voltage drop of 0.5V at 3A, enabling high efficiency and reduced power loss.
This diode is housed in a compact SMA (DO-214AC) package with gull-wing leads and matte-tin plating, suitable for automated assembly. It is qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for high reliability and is RoHS3 compliant, halogen- and antimony-free.
Typical applications include DC-DC converters, freewheeling diodes, polarity protection, and inverters. The device offers a maximum average rectified current of 3A at +100°C terminal temperature and can withstand non-repetitive surge currents up to 80A.
