The B320B-13-F is a 20V, 3A Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated. It is manufactured in a molded plastic SMB package with matte tin plated terminals and a cathode band polarity marking.
Electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 20 V, an average rectified current of 3 A at +100°C case temperature, and a typical forward voltage of 500 mV at 3 A. This device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 100 A. The junction capacitance is 200 pF at 4 V and 1 MHz. It is classified as a fast recovery rectifier (recovery time ≤ 500 ns, >200 mA).
The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C, with a typical junction-to-terminal thermal resistance of 25 °C/W. The rectifier uses a guard ring die construction for transient protection.
This component is suitable for automated assembly and is used in low voltage, high frequency inverters, free wheeling, and polarity protection circuits. It is provided in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces per reel.
