The B3100-13 is a 100V, 3A Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for high efficiency in low voltage, high frequency applications. It features a low forward voltage drop of 0.79V maximum at 3A and 25°C, and 0.69V at 100°C, reducing power loss. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 100A for 8.3ms. Reverse leakage current is 0.5mA maximum at 25°C and 20mA at 100°C. The junction capacitance is 100pF typical at 4V and 1MHz. The thermal resistance junction-to-lead is 10°C/W typical. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and can be stored from -55°C to 150°C.
The rectifier is housed in a surface mount SMC (DO-214AB) package and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel. The device is RoHS compliant and uses a green molding compound free of halogens and antimony (for date codes 0924 and newer). Typical applications include low voltage high frequency inverters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits.
