The JST B2P3-VH is a 2-position, single row, shrouded header connector from the VA series. Designed for board-to-cable/wire applications, this vertical through-hole header features a 7.92 mm pitch and male pin contacts with tin-lead finish. It incorporates a locking ramp fastening type for secure mating with corresponding crimp-style receptacles.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 7 A (based on AWG #18 wire) and a voltage rating of 250 V AC/DC. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. Contact resistance is 10 mΩ maximum initially and 20 mΩ maximum after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ minimum, and withstanding voltage is 1200 VAC for one minute.
The header is housed in a natural (white) polyamide (PA66/Nylon 6/6) insulator with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. It is suitable for use with AWG #20 to #18 wire. The standard package quantity is 1000 pieces per box. This part is RoHS2 compliant.
