The JST B2B-ZR-SM3-TF is a 2-position shrouded header from the ZH connector series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. It features a compact 1.5mm pitch and a surface mount termination, with a mounting height of 5.0mm. The header is fully shrouded with a 4-wall design to protect the receptacle during mating.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 1A and a voltage rating of 50V, suitable for low-power signal and power interconnects. Contact resistance is 20mΩ max initially and 30mΩ max after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is a minimum of 500MΩ, and withstanding voltage is 500V AC/minute. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C.
The header uses male pins with a circular contact shape, made from brass with a tin-lead finish. The insulator is natural-colored polyamide (PA46) glass-filled material with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. A detent lock fastening type and solder retention feature ensure secure connections.
