The B180-13 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. It has a maximum peak repetitive reverse voltage of 80V and an average rectified output current of 1A. Typical forward voltage is 0.79V at 1A and 25°C, dropping to 0.69V at 100°C. Maximum reverse current is 0.5mA at 25°C and 5mA at 100°C.
The device includes a guard ring die construction for transient protection and is ideally suited for automatic assembly. It can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). Junction capacitance is typically 80pF at 4V reverse bias. Operating and storage temperature range is -65°C to +150°C.
The B180-13 is offered in the surface mount SMA package (DO-214AC) with solder plated terminals and cathode band polarity marking. Typical applications include low voltage inverters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits.
