The B170B-13-F is a high-voltage Schottky barrier rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for 70V repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) and 1A average rectified output current (IO). It features a maximum forward voltage drop of 0.79V at 1A, contributing to low power loss and high efficiency suitable for various power conversion circuits.
This diode employs guard ring die construction for transient protection and is ideally suited for automated assembly. The SMB package supports surface mount assembly with solderable matte tin terminals and a cathode band polarity indicator. The molding compound is green and rated UL 94V-0.
Typical applications include polarity protection, re-circulating, blocking diodes, and DC-DC or AC-DC converter circuits. The part is qualified to JEDEC standards, with moisture sensitivity level 1 per J-STD-020.
