The B140BQ-13-F is a 40V, 1A Schottky barrier rectifier designed for general-purpose commercial applications. It features a low forward voltage drop of 0.5V at 1A, minimizing power loss and improving efficiency. The device offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40V, a maximum average rectified current of 1A, and a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3ms half sine wave). Reverse current is typically 0.5mA at rated voltage. The part is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package, suitable for automated assembly. It is qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for automotive reliability, RoHS3 compliant, and halogen- and antimony-free. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +150°C. Typical applications include polarity protection, freewheeling diodes, blocking diodes, and recirculating diodes in low-voltage high-frequency inverters. Supplied in tape and reel with 3000 pieces per reel.
