The B0540W-7-F is a surface-mount Schottky barrier rectifier designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. It has a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 40V and can handle an average rectified output current of 0.5A. The typical forward voltage drop is only 510mV at 500mA, which minimizes power loss. The device also offers a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 5.5A, ensuring robustness during transient conditions.
