The B0520LW-7-F from Diodes Incorporated is a 0.5A Schottky barrier rectifier designed for low-voltage, high-efficiency applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 20V and a typical forward voltage drop of just 385 mV at 500 mA, enabling reduced power loss. The device offers fast recovery with a maximum reverse recovery time of 500 ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching. It can handle non-repetitive forward surge currents up to 5.5 A (8.3 ms half sine wave) and dissipates 410 mW under nominal conditions.
The rectifier is housed in a surface-mount SOD-123 package with matte tin plated terminals and cathode band polarity marking. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces per reel. Operating over a temperature range of -65°C to 125°C, it delivers reliable performance in demanding environments.
The component is fully RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen and antimony free (green device). Moisture sensitivity level is 1 per J-STD-020, allowing unlimited floor life. Applications include output rectification in DC-DC converters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection in low-voltage power supplies.
