The AZ3128-04P is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressing device from Amazing Micro, designed to protect two differential line pairs (4 lines) from surge, ESD, and latch-up events. It provides transient protection compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) ±30kV contact/air, IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) 60A, and IEC 61000-4-5 (Lightning) 30A. The device features a low operating voltage of 2.8V, low leakage current of 1µA maximum at 25°C, and a typical clamping voltage of 12V at 5A (8/20µs). It utilizes solid-state silicon-avalanche and active circuit triggering technology for fast turn-on and low clamping.
Typical applications include 10/100/1000 Ethernet, Power Over Ethernet (POE), WAN/LAN devices, switching systems, computers, and differential inputs. The AZ3128-04P is housed in a JEDEC SO-8 package (8-SOIC, 0.154" width, 3.90mm width) with surface mount mounting. It has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C (TC). The part is available as RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected (unverified).
