The Littelfuse AXGD10603NR is a surface-mount ESD suppressor from the XTREME-GUARD series, designed to protect sensitive electronics from extreme ESD events up to 30kV contact and air discharge. It offers a typical clamping voltage of 40V under IEC 61000-4-2 8kV direct discharge and an ultra-low capacitance of 0.09 pF at 250 MHz, preserving signal integrity for high-speed circuits.
This device features a fast response time of less than 1 ns and very low leakage current below 1 nA at 24V, making it ideal for high-frequency applications. It is bidirectional, withstands over 1000 ESD strikes, and operates over a wide temperature range of -65°C to 125°C. The component is housed in a compact 0603 (1608 metric) concave package, compatible with automated pick-and-place processes.
The AXGD10603NR is AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive use and is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and lead-free. Typical applications include infotainment systems, high-speed interfaces (USB, DVI, LVDS, Ethernet), RF and antenna circuits, and other automotive electronics requiring robust ESD protection with minimal capacitive loading.
