The ATXMEGA16A4-AU is a high-performance, low-power 8/16-bit AVR XMEGA microcontroller from Atmel. It features 16KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory, 2KB internal SRAM, and 1KB EEPROM. Operating at speeds up to 32 MHz (2.7V to 3.6V), it is designed for a wide range of embedded control applications.
Peripheral integration includes a four-channel DMA controller, eight-channel event system, five 16-bit timer/counters, five USARTs, two SPI peripherals, and two I2C/SMBus compatible two-wire interfaces. It also incorporates a 12-channel 12-bit ADC (2 Msps), a two-channel 12-bit DAC (1 Msps), two analog comparators, and an AES/DES crypto engine.
The microcontroller supports a supply voltage range of 1.6V to 3.6V and is specified for industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). It is available in a 44-lead TQFP (10x10 mm) package with 34 programmable I/O lines and surface-mount assembly.
The operating voltage range is 1.6V to 3.6V (Vcc/Vdd).
It comes in a 44-lead TQFP (10x10 mm) surface-mount package.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C (TA).
RoHS3 compliant according to existing database records, though not verified via datasheet.
It features an 8/16-bit AVR core operating at up to 32 MHz.
16KB Flash program memory and 2KB internal SRAM, plus 1KB EEPROM.
It supports I²C, IrDA, SPI, UART/USART, and includes DMA, event system, multiple timer/counters, ADC, DAC, and analog comparators.
