ATUC256L4U-ZAUR

The ATUC256L4U-ZAUR is a high-performance 32-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology, featuring a compact single-cycle RISC instruction set including DSP instructions. It operates at up to 50MHz from flash memory with one wait state, delivering up to 64 DMIPS. The device integrates 256KB of internal high-speed flash with 100,000 write cycles, 32KB of single-cycle SRAM, and a memory protection unit (MPU) with a secure access unit (SAU) for user-defined peripheral protection.

Peripherals include a 12-channel peripheral DMA controller, eight 12-bit ADC channels, four USARTs, one SPI, two TWI (I2C), 36 PWM channels, and eight analog comparators. It also supports capacitive touch sensing, USB (full speed and low speed), and a peripheral event system for direct peripheral-to-peripheral communication. The device features picoPower technology for ultra-low power consumption, along with a power and clock manager, internal system RC oscillator, and a phase locked loop (PLL) for flexible clock generation.

Packaged in a 48-VFQFN exposed pad (7x7mm) surface-mount package, the ATUC256L4U-ZAUR operates over a supply voltage range of 1.62V to 3.6V and an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
