The ATTINY84A-SSFR is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller based on the advanced RISC architecture. It features 8KB of in-system self-programmable Flash program memory with 10,000 write/erase cycles, 512B of SRAM, and 512B of EEPROM with 100,000 write/erase cycles. The device operates from 1.8V to 5.5V and can achieve up to 20 MHz at 4.5V to 5.5V. It is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
Peripheral features include a 10-bit ADC with 8 single-ended channels or 12 differential channel pairs with programmable gain, two timers (one 8-bit and one 16-bit) each with two PWM channels, a universal serial interface (USI), an on-chip analog comparator, and a temperature sensor. Low-power modes include Idle, ADC Noise Reduction, Standby, and Power-down, with power-down current as low as 0.1 µA at 1.8V.
The ATTINY84A-SSFR is offered in a 14-SOIC surface mount package (0.154" width, 3.90mm). It includes 12 programmable I/O lines with pin change interrupts, debugWIRE on-chip debug system, and in-system programming via SPI. The device also features brown-out detection, power-on reset, and a programmable watchdog timer.
