The ATTINY40-MMHR is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology's ATtiny series. It features 4KB of in-system programmable Flash memory and 256 bytes of internal SRAM, providing ample storage for small to medium embedded applications.
Operating at speeds up to 12 MHz (at 4.5-5.5V), the device delivers up to 12 MIPS throughput. It supports a wide supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V and includes a rich set of peripherals such as an 8-bit timer/counter with two PWM channels, a 10-bit ADC with 12 channels, an on-chip analog comparator, and a programmable watchdog timer with separate oscillator.
With 18 programmable I/O lines and connectivity options including I²C and SPI, this microcontroller is well-suited for space-constrained designs requiring low power consumption. Typical active mode current is 200 µA at 1 MHz, with power-down mode current below 0.1 µA.
The device is offered in a compact 20-VFQFN exposed pad package (20-VQFN 3x3 mm) for surface mount assembly, suitable for industrial temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C.
