The ATTINY261A-SU is a low-power, high-performance 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology. It features 2KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory, 128 bytes of SRAM, and 128 bytes of EEPROM, each with high endurance. The device operates at speeds up to 20MHz, delivering up to 20 MIPS throughput.
Key peripherals include a 10-bit ADC with 11 single-ended channels and differential pairs with programmable gain (1x, 8x, 20x, 32x), a Universal Serial Interface (USI) for connectivity, and multiple timers with PWM outputs. It also includes brown-out detection, power-on reset, watchdog timer, and an on-chip temperature sensor. Four sleep modes support power-sensitive applications.
Housed in a 20-pin SOIC surface-mount package, the ATTINY261A-SU operates from 1.8V to 5.5V with typical active current of 200 µA at 1MHz, 1.8V and power-down current of 0.1 µA. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. Data retention is 100 years at 25°C and 20 years at 85°C.
