The ATTINY24-15SSZ is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology (formerly Atmel) based on the enhanced RISC architecture. It features 2KB of in-system programmable Flash memory, 128B SRAM, and 128B EEPROM, providing ample storage for small embedded applications.
The device operates at a maximum clock speed of 16 MHz at 4.5V-5.5V and 8 MHz at 2.7V-5.5V. It includes a rich set of peripherals: a 10-bit ADC with 8 single-ended and 12 differential channels, two timer/counters with PWM outputs, a Universal Serial Interface (USI), an analog comparator, brown-out detection, and a watchdog timer. The microcontroller supports debugWIRE for on-chip debugging and is programmable via SPI.
Packaged in a 14-SOIC surface mount package (0.154" width, 3.90mm), the ATTINY24-15SSZ is rated for automotive temperature range (-40°C to +125°C) and operates from 2.7V to 5.5V. Typical power consumption is 800 µA in active mode at 1MHz/2.7V and 2.0 µA in power-down mode, making it suitable for low-power and automotive applications.
